Nice night for the watchers in the shade - a little warm and windless in the sun - 46 riders started and 43 were scored, sort of, at the finish. (Six riders failed to line up to get scored - to the disgust of the staff. Come on, guys!)
One rider threw a water bottle at a passing driver, never mind that the peloton was riding in the driver's space. (A few more incidents like that and we'll find ourselves unwelcome at our favorite racing venues.) Another sat up in the midst of the final sprint, causing panic behind him. Race directors need to remind riders of the rules, with the bullhorn.
Senior Adam Slough was first; Master Eric Snider was third; Vet Jon Brinkman was sixth and Junior Corey Brinkman 35th.
