Lowering
clouds, chill wind and a road clogged with mud from a tomato picker ... all we
needed was rain. We got that by the final sprint. Unlikely that 32 riders and a
bunch of support folks would drive out to the middle of nowhere for a race last
night. They did, and almost all seemed to enjoy themselves. Margaritas, dos
Equis and dinner at El Vaguero made the evening complete.
