3-lap Road Race At Colton, OH

Seems as though every race has been hairy, way out here in the sticks. Not this one. Director Wright had good, experienced help, the weather was so fine it could have been a standard for "Nice Day". California-bright, little wind, temperature about 80º and friendly farm traffic. Just fine.

Most of the 33 riders were in contact (!) at the finish with Senior Matt Thourot at his usual place in front. Master Mark Armstrong was second, Vet Dave Teall 6th and Junior Andy Pauken 14th. War stories, margaritas and dinner all the way East in Perrysburg at El Vaquero.
