Matt Thorout and Jim Sarks organized this thing; they found the course, built barriers and dug up all kinds of good help. Will McLaughlin (of the famous 45-lap crit at BG) directed; Scott Loehrke brought his friend Steve (who took these photos); everyone pitched in earlier Sunday to mark and set up the course amid the drizzle and the poison ivy.
Before the 45 minute race started, everyone had had a free lap and most had crashed at least once. By half-time all but Jon Card and Jer Walker were looking half cooked. - Card was a lap down on Walker by then, so was everyone else. The forty minute mark saw folks earnestly wishing to hear the bell. Walker, Card and Foshag made it one-two-three.
