Club Championship Road Race at Scotch Ridge

Le Tour de France was in progress this week, which must have reminded the riders in this club race that strategy matters. Tony Gwin, Jim Regan and Colby Moeller pulled ahead of the peloton by about 1.5 minutes midway of the race. They stayed there by virtue of hard work and were supported by whatever was going on in the peloton behind them. They finished 1,2,3. Master Tony Gwin was first; Senior Colby Moeller was third, Vet Dave Komives was 9th, and Junior Ethan Swepston was 25th.
