The
weather for this race was just about perfect; what made the evening really
special was the return of two old wheelmen, Rob Selle and Mark Hovsepian. 28
laps did seem short for a mid-season crit, but the pace was torrid. At the start
line Race Director Jeff Crawford made clear the complexities of this tempo
race. Mirabeli dictu, there was hardly any confusion about
scoring. Master Steve Clark was first, Senior Adam Slough second, Vet Dave
Komives 10th and Junior Corey Brinkman 23rd.
