Race Director Jason Mishka managed a couple of surprises with this two-part race. The first part was a criterium, enlivened by a bell at two, and then one, laps to go. Then relay teams were organized based on finish order in the crit, matching riders from both ends of the finish order. Riders transferred the fat foam noodle batons by dropping them on the ground for the next rider to retrieve. It was sort of like a Sunday School picnic event, lots of fun for the gallery. Master Tony Gwin was first, Senior Brad Hilton third, Vet Mike Iannone fifth, Buckeye Keith Suhr 20th and Junior Josh Burkhart 21st.
