Heavy rain showers and distant thunder made it seem unlikely that this race would happen, but by race time the Bowling Green course was rideable. Four sprints in the 25-lap criterium were enough to keep the pace lively, with Senior Jason Mishka winning three of them. He was first overall, Master Jeff Crawford was second, Vet Mike Iannone fourth, Junior Chris Brinkman eighth and Buckeye Gary Tarsha 15th.
