Unexpected road work caused cancellation of tonight's race, never mind it was
a perfect summer evening. Just about everyone went off for a ride along the
Portage River. One recalls the last time that happened at Scotch Ridge. That
was the night Eddie Kipplin decapitated a squirrel en passant, sending a
