The tall corn at Scotch Ridge is brown and about ready to harvest. It looks like bikies are feeling a little brown too; the season has been long, both here and in Michigan. Just 18 riders went out into the brightly lit cornfields last night, still chuckling over Director Mark Armstrong's collection of primes and prizes. Junior Chris Brinkman handily took the first prime; he would have been a contender for the race leader but for a flat on the back side of the course. Senior Jason Mishka was first; Vet Dave Komives outsmarted and out rode the rest of the Vets to finish second overall. Master Tony Gwin was fourth.
