Club Championship Road Race at Scotch Ridge

Out in the wind-swept cornfields the ride got tough early on. The first of six trips around the course saw the peloton blasted into three segments, that became four; with a lot of stragglers; by the second lap. Rachel Steele got smart and dropped out - to take most of these photos. Vet Jim Regan led the final sprint; Senior Adam Slough was second, Master Jeff Crawford was fifth; and Junior Chris Brinkman was ninth. The lone Buckeye in the race, Gary Tarsha made the folks in his group ride harder than they wanted to; he came in at 16th place.
