Road Race "in the rough" at Ottawa Lake

It seems as though Juniors and Seniors were too savvy to turn out for a race requiring training wheels - but their elders had no problem with that, and had a good time. The mile-long section of dirt road was mostly a challenge turning onto it, and off at speed. The only casualty was Matt Thourot's flat tire on the last of 8 laps. (He had been closing in on escapees Gratop and Clark). Master Ron Gratop was first, Senior Adam Slough fourth, Vet Mike Iannone sixth, and Karen McKee 12th.
