On her route, Senator Fedor plans to advocate for the importance of physical education and health standards in our public education system.  Her mission statement follows:  “It is time for Ohio to improve the health and well-being of all our citizens. Ohioans, especially children, are facing many preventable health challenges because of inactivity. Families that eat healthy and stay physically active live longer lives. It is critical we take action aimed at combating chronic diseases to positively impact our future. Working together, communities across Ohio can make a difference.”

I believe a world class education system is attainable by harmonizing academic subjects with quality health and physical education standards. Today I ride from Toledo to Columbus to advocate for these causes and help solve health issues in the beginning of our children’s lives.
