A warm 40k time trial went off missing a lot of the usual contestants, who were getting ready for the weekend's races. It was an old men's race, with the only senior being the Director, Horst Obereder. There were some nice times. Master Brian Rex won with a 58'12"; Buckeye Gary Tarsha was third with a 60'27" (!) and Vet Mike Faehnle was fifth with a 62'21".
