The 2009 Club Championship Omnium was run on a chilly, gray and windy course that was better for the riders than it was for staff and gallery. With strong performance in the crit, the Miss-n-Out and the time trial, Vet Mark Armstrong was first; Master Will McLaughlin was second; and Senior Jason Mishka was third. Buckeye Mike Faehnle finished 13th of 25.

Well, it was a tough job for a novice crew, but they carried it off with some help from the Kistlers and Steve Clark. Coach Tyrone Holmes drove 95 miles to work as corner marshal; he ought to get the worker of the year award. The least we can do is give you a link to his fitness website, here.
