This weeks road race at Woodville was threatened by the only nasty cloud in the sky for 50 miles, the rain came down for about 10 minutes before the start but cleared just in time. The first lap of 3 was the fastest threatening to split the field of 16, but it came back together for the remainder of the night. Senior Tim Schaffer was first, Vet Mark Armstrong was second, and Master Tony Gwin was third. We had a protest after the race, for two riders joining the race after the start, it was decided that the riders would only be able to be scored 1 point. This is not typically an issue in a 30-40 lap crit, but in a 3 lap RR it causes problems. Since this has arisen, formal club rules will be published before next season..
