Race #3 was intended to be a trial
running two separate criteriums: an A race for advanced riders and B race
for the rest. Director Neal Martin reports: "Sadly we ended up
NOT racing. The road conditions were horrendous! We had not gone
out and done any patch work as in previous years. Any kind of racing
would have very possibly ended in tragedy so we cancelled. So the
group just went for a ride."
We
are hoping to have the course repaired, however future races scheduled for
OOIP may be moved to a different venue so be sure to check the schedule for
location before heading out.
Workers who sign up in advance and
show up to help still receive points when a race is cancelled.
