This season’s Club clothing will be purchased from Verge Sport. Samples of the

clothing items are available this evening for your inspection. Hopefully you will

take a few minutes to look over the variety of items available, and to examine the

fabrics, construction and overall quality. Within the next month a sizing kit will

be made available. There will be ample opportunity for you to try on various sizes

of each garment so to insure your new clothing fits as desired and expected.

We have tried to offer as wide a variety as possible of different garments. We’ve

selected those items that are staples in the everyone’s cycling wardrobe, as well as

some specialty items that have been popular in past orders. If there is a specific

item you want but don’t see, just ask. Verge offers a full line of cycling attire, and

Clothing design and colors have yet to be determined. The design process will begin

once the Club membership has completed the vote on the new logo. Unlike previous

Club styles, this year’s clothing design will not be penned from the desks of Steve’s

and Scott’s Fashion Boutique. Steve and I have made the difficult--but necessary--

decision to surrender our much heralded styling reins to the graphic arts specialists

at Verge Sport’s studio. Once the design is finalized, we will post it on the Club’s

web site.

Winter-Tec2 fabric is a 225 gram brushed polyester. Its thermal fibers

trap body heat and wick away moisture. Additionally, the material has a water

repellant exterior treatment.
