There is a hot competition
among the Thursday night racing crowd for club points. Points are awarded
for overall standing in each race, and for standing in the following
groups (A,B,C). Riders work two races during the
season, for each of which they are awarded 20 points. We will be
offering an Escort/Coach
rider to the races this year, check it out.
Scoring: Overall and
non-championship Groups:
20, 18, 16, 14, 12, 10, 9,8,...2,2,2 dnf=1
Club Championships,
Groups only: 26, 24, 22,...10,9,8,...2,2,2
The Season Group Championship
is scored on the best 12 races. For the Club Championships (Overall) all
races count.
For the Time Trial
Championship, Overall Points awarded in the best ssprint TT, the best
medium distance TT and the best long TT are totaled. In case of a tie, the winner of
the Club Championship TT prevails.
Omnium Scoring. In
case of a tie-
1.) Most
1st. place finishes in the omnium.
2.)
.....if still a tie, most 2nd. place finishes.
3.)
.....if still a tie, highest placing in the last race of the omnium.
