There is a hot competition
among the Thursday night racing crowd for club points. Points are awarded
for overall standing in each race, and for standing in the following age
groups: 18 and under (Junior); 19-34 (Senior); 35-44 (Master); 45-54 (Vet);
Golden Buckeye 55+; and Women. Riders work two races during the
season, for each of which they are awarded 20 points.
Scoring: Overall and
non-championship Groups:
20, 18, 16, 14, 12, 10, 9,8,...2,2,2 dnf=1
Club Championships,
Groups only: 26, 24, 22,...10,9,8,...2,2,2
The Season Group Championship
is scored on the best 12 races. For the Club Championships (Overall) all
races count.
For the Time Trial
Championship, Overall Points awarded in the best 1-lap TT, the best
2-lap TT and the best 3-lap TT are totaled. In case of a tie, the winner of
the Club Championship TT prevails.
Omnium Scoring. In
case of a tie-
1.) Most
1st. place finishes in the omnium.
2.)
.....if still a tie, most 2nd. place finishes.
3.)
.....if still a tie, highest placing in the last race of the omnium.
